CODA Real Estate Ltd wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. This statement describes accessibility features present in the current site, known limitations and how to contact us about barriers.
Measures we have taken
The current website includes the following accessibility-oriented features:
- A skip-to-content link for keyboard users.
- Semantic landmarks for primary navigation, main content and footer.
- One primary heading (h1) per page, with supporting heading hierarchy on editorial and legal pages.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Descriptive link text for key journeys, including Insights and policy pages.
- Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative icons marked appropriately where used.
- Carousel controls with accessible names, keyboard focus and pause-on-focus behaviour for historic transactions.
- Respect for prefers-reduced-motion where CSS and carousel behaviour allow.
Supported interaction
The site is designed for use with contemporary desktop and mobile browsers, mouse or touch input, and keyboard navigation for primary interactive controls. We aim for sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds using the approved brand palette, though some decorative or low-emphasis text may be softer by design.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following limitations:
- Some photography is illustrative and may not convey the full context of an opportunity without accompanying text.
- PDF brochures (when published) open as external documents and inherit the accessibility characteristics of each PDF file; we cannot guarantee every brochure meets the same standard as HTML pages.
- Third-party hosting or CDN interfaces are outside our direct design control.
- Older browsers or uncommon assistive-technology combinations may not receive full testing coverage.
Reporting accessibility issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please email info@codarealestate.co.uk with the page URL, a description of the problem and the assistive technology or browser you were using if relevant. We will consider reports and aim to respond with information or improvements where reasonably practicable.
Preparation of this statement
This statement reflects accessibility features implemented in the current static website codebase. It is not a formal WCAG conformance claim or third-party audit certificate.
